Chairperson & Chief Scientific Officer

Prof. Roman Zubarev, Ph.D., is the Chairperson and Chief Scientific Officer at ISOREA AB. He is also the Director of Proteomics and Chemical Proteomics Facility and Head of the Division of Physiological Chemistry I of MBB, Karolinska Institutet. He is the winner of many international prestigious awards, viz., The Distinguished New Technologies Award (Venice, 2006), Curt Brunnée Award from International Mass Spectrometry Society (Prague, 2006), Gold medal from Russian Mass Spectrometry Society (2013), Stanford list of top scientists (2022) – Nr. 6 / KI. He is a Board member & Executive Committee member of World Human Proteome Organization and Board member of Swedish Mass Spectrometry Society. He is the editorial board member of many top journals and science funds. He has authored over 300 peer review scientific publications in top journals and also authored eleven patents/ patent applications. He has worked in collaboration with many companies, e.g., Amgen, AstraZeneca, Oriflame, Thermo Fisher Scientific, SpectroSwiss, Biomotif etc. and Co-founded six innovation & consultancy companies based on his own research.

Chief Executive Officer

Dr. Sourav Mukherjee, Ph.D., is the Chief Executive Officer at ISOREA AB. He is also the Founder and CEO of Nordic Preclinical Sciences AB- a Contract Research Organisation located in Stockholm. He has many years of experience in life science research in various disease models, omics studies, bioassay development, drug interactions in in vitro, ex vivo and in vivo models. He has worked and managed various projects while working at academia (e.g., EU Graphene Flagship project (total value 1 billion Euros among multiple partners), etc.), Government Regulatory Agency (Health Canada, Ottawa), and Pharmaceutical Industry (AstraZeneca, Mölndal) in Sweden and abroad. He has published many high impact publications in top peer reviewed journals, e.g., Nature publishing, Cell Press, Advanced Sciences etc, as well as worked as reviewers of many top scientific journals, as well as co-Editor.

Chief Technical Officer

Dr. Sanchali Gupta Mukherjee, PhD, is the Chief Technical Officer at ISOREA AB. She has over 12 years’ experience in toxicology, oncology, cell and molecular biology with over 7+ years working experience in pharmaceutical companies in preclinical, translational research, as well as in CMC (Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls). Earlier she has worked as a Senior Scientist at Aprea Therapeutics AB in oncology research where she was primarily responsible for preclinical developments, as well as translational research for clinical trials and also worked closely with CMC team. Additionally, she was the primary contact point for in vivo studies by external CROs, co-contact point for external Clinical CROs (in USA) for translational studies in clinical trials. In her previous Scientist position at Sigrid Therapeutics AB, she worked on drug candidate synthesis, standardization, optimization, and efficacy testing. Additionally, Sanchali had standardized the synthesis protocol and worked with a CRO for scale-up of a drug candidate for Phase-1 clinical trial.


Research & Development Manager

Susanna Lundström, Ph.D. is the Research & Development Manager at ISOREA AB. She is also a Senior scientist at MBB, Karolinska Institutet (Sweden) with an extensive background in various omics approaches (proteomics, metabolomics and lipidomics), post translational protein analysis, drug targeting and biomarker discovery. Have been involved in a broad range of clinical research studies with a particular focus on age related diseases and antibody expression and function.   

Business Development Advisor

Ms. Cecilia Bröms-Thell is an experienced executive leader with a demonstrated successful history of working in Life Science Industry over last two decades. She is skilled in Leadership, Organisational transformation, Business development, Building high performing teams, Marketing Management, Market Planning, Sales, and Sales Management. Currently Cecilia is working as the Senior Business Developer at the Uppsala Innovation Centre (Sweden) and General Manager Sweden (acting, part-time) at Avanzanite Bioscience. Earlier she worked as the CEO of FrostPharma AB, General Manager Sanofi Genzyme Sweden, Business Manager Pfizer, as well as in many other leadership positions.

Business Development Advisor

Ms. Helena Kristersson have a background as an entrepreneur, CEO, business developer, career and business coach and much more. She is a result driven Business and Communication Senior Professional with many years of experience working as management consultant in the change management, innovation, marketing and communication field. She has a broad range of experience in organization, market communication and demonstrated experience in leading companies, projects and campaigns in a national and international environment. Helena is the Program Manager of Uppsala Innovation Centre Accelerator. She has held leadership and advisory positions in many companies including at the Swedish American Chamber of Commerce (San Diego, USA), Karolinska Institutet (Sweden), Ateam Group AB, BVT gruppen, Frame Access AB, Ericsson, Arla Foods.
